Blackberry-leaf silver nanoparticles against plant pathogens
Rubus fruticosus extract reduces Ag+ to 50–120 nm AgNPs (SPR 449 nm) that fully inhibit two phytopathogens at the highest dose.

Structured fields used in claim comparison tables when every cited study has a complete layer.
What they did
Authors mixed leaf extract with AgNO3, confirmed SPR, XRD, TEM and EDX, then titrated nanoparticles versus Ralstonia solanacearum and Erwinia carotovora, plus DPPH antioxidant assays.
What they found
SPR at 449 nm (stable 4 months). XRD peaks at 38.1°, 44.4°, 54.5°, 77.9°. TEM 50–120 nm. EDX ~90% Ag at 3 keV. Highest NP dose gave 100% inhibition of both pathogens; lower doses still beat extract alone.
The limits
What it doesn't show
Field efficacy, mammalian toxicity, and a fully assigned capping-molecule structure are not established; ‘T1–T10’ doses need the paper’s table to translate to µg mL−1.
Key terms
