Among Bangladeshi adults, COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy was common (41.1%), and the Theory of Planned Behavior explained more variance than HBM or 5C models.

Hesitancy prevalence was 41.1%; TPB explained 43% of variance (highest predictive power) with all four TPB components significant; key HBM constructs also predicted hesitancy.
Methodology
Researchers surveyed adults in Bangladesh and compared how HBM, TPB, and 5C psychological antecedents predicted COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy after covariate adjustment.
Limitations
Whether theory-based campaigns will raise uptake, or causal effects—design is cross-sectional prediction.
